Job summary

Huws Gray Group is seeking a Yard Supervisor for the March branch to lead yard operations and keep stock in good order. You will supervise a small team and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a safe, tidy yard environment.

The role may offer flexible working options and training opportunities, with a focus on customer service and efficient processes across the branch. Previous yard or forklift experience is valued, and the company provides ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate yard activities.
• Forklift Driving Licence is an advantage and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing yard operations - working with Yard Operatives and Drivers.
• Managing stock levels and reporting faulty/damaged goods to the Branch Manager.
• Supporting deliveries - handling loading and unloading to maintain movement.
• Handling goods in and out and ensuring documentation on systems is accurate.
• Working as part of a team to keep the branch running efficiently and deliver great customer service.
