Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly in Woodbridge, UK. You will coordinate loading, unloading, storage and dispatch of materials, ensure safe labeling and accessibility, and maintain a tidy yard in line with health and safety standards.

The role requires previous yard or site supervision experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics or construction settings, with solid knowledge of material handling, lifting operations and safety

Job description

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Yard Supervisor. If you're someone who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, takes pride in maintaining high safety standards and has experience managing people and materials in a busy industrial or construction environment, we'd love to hear from you.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating the loading, unloading, storage and dispatch of materials, while ensuring everything is stored safely, clearly labelled, and easily accessible. Keeping the yard clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations will be a priority, along with carrying out regular inspections of lifting equipment, containers, and storage areas.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience supervising a yard or site, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or construction environment. You’ll have a good understanding of material handling, lifting operations and health and safety requirements, along with strong organisational and communication skills.

Working 7am-5pm Woodbridge

£17:50ph- £19.50ph
