Job summary

Loaninghill Fabrication Co Ltd seeks an experienced Yard/Stores Person to support the workshop, stores and yard operations in a busy fabrication environment. You will handle goods inwards, stock control and material handling, including bandsaw work and end‑of‑day checks.

The role requires Counterbalance and Multidirectional forklift licences, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Excellent timekeeping and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, stores or industrial environment.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of workshop equipment and tools.
• Experience operating bandsaws.
• Awareness of site health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Stock control and inventory management.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift.
• Cut materials using bandsaws to work orders.
• Record stock movements and usage.
• End‑of‑day checks and security procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe yard environment.
