Frasers Group in Shirebrook is recruiting a Yard Shunter to join our transport team. The role focuses on safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the yard and supporting loading operations.

You will operate shunt tugs and HGVs, position trailers, coordinate with warehouse teams, and ensure vehicles are ready for inspection while following Health & Safety procedures. Prior yard or transport experience and a valid HGV licence are preferred.

• Work closely with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure smooth operations
• Liaise with third-party and service provider drivers
• Ensure vehicles are available for inspection and maintenance as required
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Shunter to join our transport team in Shirebrook. This is a key role responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the transport yard, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience within a transport or yard environment (preferred)
• Valid HGV licence (essential)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and flexible approach to shift work
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
