Travis Perkins Trading Company Limited is seeking a Yard Assistant to support outdoor yard operations. You will process customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and accurately check in building products from supplier deliveries in the branch warehouse.

Ideal candidates are energetic with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with a competitive salary and bonus potential, plus generous holidays and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but full training is provided.
• This is a key customer facing role requiring enthusiastic and friendly interpersonal skills.
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, maintain a tidy and safe working environment.

You will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
You will also unload our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don't worry full training is provided
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
This is a key customer facing role, so you will need to be enthusiastic and have great interpersonal skills.
Be confident in your physical ability to process heavy and bulky stock throughout the Yard, within our health and safety guidelines.
Thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment, be adaptable and resilient.
