Job summary

Travis Perkins Trading Company Limited is seeking a Yard Assistant to support our branch operations outdoors, processing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and unloading supplier deliveries.

You will handle forklift tasks (where trained), maintain a tidy, safe yard, and deliver friendly service to customers on a day-to-day basis. We offer a competitive salary with bonus potential, 22 days' holiday, enhanced pension, staff discounts, ShareSave, and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience handling customer orders and loading/unloading vehicles.
• Able to work outdoors and lift heavy stock.
• Forklift experience is ideal, but full training provided.

• Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don't worry full training is provided
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• This is a key customer facing role, so you will need to be enthusiastic and have great interpersonal skills.
• Be confident in your physical ability to process heavy and bulky stock throughout the Yard, within our health and safety guidelines.
