Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Yard Assistant to support yard operations and customer service. You will process orders, load and unload stock, and keep the yard safe and organised. Training is provided for any forklift needs and safety standards are a priority.

You will be based outdoors in a fast-paced environment, require enthusiasm, and enjoy working with customers on a day-to-day basis. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• This is a key customer facing role requiring enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills.
• Must be physically able to process heavy and bulky stock and operate within health and safety guidelines.
• Experience with forklift is ideal, but full training is provided.

• Unload building products from supplier deliveries and log them in the warehouse.

• You will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.


• You will also unload our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.


• Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don't worry full training is provided


• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
