Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Yard Sales Adviser for our Chesham site. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00 with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00.

You will acknowledge customers, assess needs, and deliver quick, friendly service while keeping the yard and shop floor at high standards. Training for forklift operation is provided; opportunities to develop product knowledge and grow with the business are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Positive attitude and reliability in a busy yard and shop environment.
• Willingness to learn product lines and processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, identify needs, and provide quick, efficient service.
• Build relationships and understand current and future requirements to support all their needs.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor; operate machinery safely.
• Assist with loading/unloading and stock movements, including forklift support.
