Browne Construction is seeking a proactive Yards person to keep our civils yard clean, safe and well-organised. You will manage plant, stock and procurement, track equipment, coordinate hires and support purchasing. Basic repairs and vehicle maintenance may be required, with accurate records kept up to date.

You'll join a supportive team in a hands-on, on-site role with opportunities to grow within the business. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in a yard, construction, or civils environment (desirable but not essential).
• Basic IT skills and confidence using systems to manage stock and records.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive, reliable, and positive 'can-do' attitude.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently run yard; manage stock, plant and procurement activities.
• Track, inspect and prepare plant equipment for use; coordinate hires.
• Support purchasing of materials and basic repairs where possible.
• Organise vehicle maintenance and keep accurate records up to date.
