Job summary

Jones Bros Ltd in Denbigh is seeking a Plant Yard Person to support the day-to-day operation of our Plant and Training Yard. This hands-on role ensures plant, vehicles, tools and equipment are ready when our site teams need them, within a busy civil engineering environment.

You will help keep the yard safe and organised, assist with moving plant, preparing equipment for site and support the wider Plant Team, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on yard role requiring practical approach to tasks.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Organised approach to keeping yard, equipment and vehicles safe.
• Team minded and safety aware in a civil engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep Plant and Training Yard clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Clean and maintain company vehicles, vans and 4x4s.
• General site upkeep including waste management, snow clearing and gritting.
• Assist with loading/unloading plant, tools and equipment.
• Operate forklifts or telehandlers as qualified.
• Monitor yard security, gates and lighting, raise issues promptly.
