Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for Yard & Packing Operatives for a client based in Avonmouth, Bristol. The role is suited to candidates with experience in yard work, packing, or logistics, and requires own transport due to location.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7.00am-4.00pm with overtime on Saturdays; pay ranges from £12.80 to £19.20 per hour. Safety and teamwork are essential as you will handle pallets, operate equipment, and maintain clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Own transport required due to location.
• Previous production, warehouse, forklift or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
• Reliability, safety-consciousness, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check products, weights, bags and labelling for accuracy.
• Follow production instructions and quality control procedures.
• Take and store product samples correctly.
• Report any quality, weight or production issues immediately.
• Help prevent contamination by keeping equipment and work areas clean.
• Safely handle materials using forklifts/loading shovels where required.
• Follow all site safety procedures and safe systems of work.
