Job summary

Ecobat recherche un Yard Operative dédié pour rejoindre son équipe à Darley Dale, Derbyshire. Vous serez responsable des réceptions de matériaux et de leur maintenance, tout en veillant à la sécurité au sein de l'entrepôt. Qualifications

• Capacité à travailler en équipe ou de manière autonome.
• Permis de conduire complet et sans points.
• Préférable : Licence de grue à charge suspendue.

Responsibilities

• Enregistrer correctement les réceptions et expéditions de matériaux.
• Inspecter et échantillonner les réceptions de matériaux de manière sécuritaire.
• Maintenir les stocks dans les zones de stockage de processus.

We are looking for a hardworking Yard Operative to join us on our site at Darley Dale, Derbyshire. Ecobat Resources is a world leader in the responsible recycling and production of resources essential to modern life. We are the world’s largest producer of lead and lead alloys used in energy storage solutions and a range of other industrial and commercial applications. Alongside our lead production and recycling operations, Ecobat Resources also manages the recycling of polypropylene used in the development of premium polymer solutions.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday - Friday.

Duties include:

• Ensure that all material receipts and dispatches are recorded correctly according to relevant Commercial Sales / Purchase contracts.
• Ensure that all material receipts and material transfers are allocated to the correct process storage area in accordance with instruction from the Battery Process Supervisor (BPS) or Weighbridge & Loading Supervisor (WLS). Also ensure that they are of the desired quality for their intended use.
• Ensure that all material receipts are inspected and sampled in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintain stocks in process storage bays to ensure optimum process plant operation.
• Ensure that vehicles supplying materials to or collecting from site are unloaded / loaded with due regard for the health and safety of all employees and visiting drivers.
• Ensure that any equipment or vehicle breakdowns or faults are reported promptly to the BPS or WLS Supervisors
• Ensure that vehicles used in the area (FLT, FEL, flat lorry, mobile crane, small & large sweeper etc) are thoroughly checked over prior to use and any deficiencies (low fuel, cooling water, engine and hydraulic oils etc) are rectified. Ensure that Maintenance, via the BPS / WLS, is informed promptly of any problem or defect with the vehicles

Skills/qualification

• The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as motivated to work individually
• The candidate must be a reliable worker
• The candidate will have knowledge on Yard/Warehouse processes
• Must have a full clean driving license
• The candidate must have IT skills
• The candidate must have must have CBAL FLT licence for minimum of 5 years
• Full training will be given to the successful candidate, but preferred qualifications include Overhead Crane license
