Job summary

Pertemps Swindon is recruiting for a Yard Operative / Handyperson in Devizes. Temporary to permanent role with a 13.00 £/h rate, early finish on Fridays and occasional overtime paid at enhanced rate.

Role involves making and maintaining temporary accommodation units, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks. Full UK driving licence is essential; candidates should be prepared to work in all weather conditions.

Mon-Fri, early finish on Friday

OT occasional available, paid at enhanced rate

£13.00 ph DOE

About the Yard Operative / Handyperson Job

• Make temporary accommodation units as per client spec
• Build, install and maintain temporary accommodation cabins
• Perform basic carpentry, plumping and electrical tasks

As a Yard Operative / Handyperson, you will need the following skills and/or experience:

• Previous experience within a workshop or yard operative
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to undertake basic handyperson duties (hang doors, replace plasterboards, fix urinals)
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions with a can do attitude
