Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard/Warehouse Operative to join our team at Yeovil.

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative/Warehouse in our Yeovil branch. In the yard you will be receiving stock into the yard and allocating it into the appropriate location in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
Dealing with customer requirements, ensuring required goods are successfully located and loaded as per the customer’s instructions, as well as the completion of the associated administrative processes.
You will also unload supplier deliveries, load customer vehicles, get loads ready for delivery, keep the yard clean & tidy, among other daily duties.

The Requirements

• Yard/warehouse experience
• Counter balance fork lift licence (advantageous)
• Product knowledge: specific knowledge of products sold within the branch, this experience should come from experience in the roofing/building trade or roofing/builders’ merchants Industry

The Hours

Week: 1 Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00
Week: 2 Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00 & Saturday 08:00-12:00
