Job summary

Biffa is hiring an experienced FLT Operator at our Dumbarton site. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, use a clamp attachment, and handle waste and recycling tasks with accuracy while supporting with paperwork and bulkers bookings.

The role features rotating early and late shifts, overtime flexibility, and a night shift uplift. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence and clamp experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence with proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Previous clamp attachment experience is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, waste, recycling or similar operational environment, with the flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern and overtime when required.

Help us make a difference as an FLT Operator

Salary: £12.88 per hour, with an additional £1.93 per hour when working the night shift.

Shift rotation: 1 week early shift, followed by 1 week late shift on rotation. This may be subject to change depending on holiday cover and operational requirements. Overtime is available, with a degree of flexibility required.
