Overview

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Yard Operative for a well-established builders merchant based in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will have experience in a builders merchant environment and will join on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + Holiday Pay

This role involves:

• Picking orders
• Keeping the yard area safe, tidy, and organized
• Operating counterbalance & combi side-loader (training provided if needed)
• Loading and unloading company and customer vehicles
• Helping customers who come into the yard

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• Previous experience as a Yard Operative in a Builders Merchant environment
• Experience using a counterbalance or side-loader forklift is preferred but not essential
• Fluent English speaking
• Living in Borehamwood or able to commute easily
• Seeking a full-time permanent role
• Reliable and hard-working
