Job summary

Huws Gray Group is seeking a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver at Gaerwen to support a busy yard and assist with local deliveries. You’ll provide friendly customer service in the yard, help with loading, and ensure deliveries are processed safely and on time.

Training will be provided, including HIAB certification if needed. A can-do attitude and willingness to cover in busy periods are essential for this role. Flexible working options may be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and readiness to help where needed.
• Forklift licence is a nice extra but not essential.
• Training to gain HIAB certification will be provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard.
• Safely receiving and organising deliveries and keeping the yard tidy.
• Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading to help timely deliveries.
• Making occasional local deliveries when cover is needed.
• Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures.
