Job summary

Haldane Fisher Limited is recruiting for a Yard Operative at our Accrington branch. You will pick orders, assist customers, help with loading vehicles, and keep yards tidy while ensuring health and safety compliance.

We’re looking for a committed, hardworking team player with a keen interest in timber and building materials, who is eager to learn and deliver great service.

The role offers in-house training, pension, 30 days leave, staff discounts, cycle to work, and health cover on probation.

What Will You Be Doing?

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Picking orders to meet customer requirements

• Assisting and serving calling customers

• Assisting yard personnel with loading customer and company vehicles

• General housekeeping to maintain a tidy yard and production area

• Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
