Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join a well-established construction equipment sales and service company.

This full-time role offers a salary of £12.50 per hour for a 39-hour work week, increasing to £18.75 with overtime.

As a Yard Operative, your responsibilities will include:

1. Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
2. Keeping the yard clean and organised.
3. Issuing delivery notes and maintaining accurate records.
4. Photographing and cleaning machinery.
5. Operating forklifts and cranes.

Full training will be provided.

Ideal candidates will have:

1. Previous experience as a Yard Operative, Yard Worker, Warehouse Operative, Yard Assistant, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar role.
2. Experience with machinery and unloading lorries is preferred.

Working hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
