Position: Yard Operative

Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is seeking a passionate Yard Operative who values great service.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday morning 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with their projects
• Learn our product lines to advise customers effectively, aligning with Jewson Values
• Assist in preparing customer orders, loading/unloading vehicles using a forklift (training provided)
• Check deliveries and report missing or damaged items
• Maintain stock levels and conduct regular stock counts
• Keep the branch clean and presentable
• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks
