Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence is mandatory; HIAB and Forklift Truck licences are beneficial.
• Must have strong customer service skills and a good understanding of building materials.
• Able to work as part of a team while being security conscious.

We are looking for a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to join us at Huws Gray Wrightington!

We rely on our Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to provide excellent service to our customers, through knowledge of our stock and making sure products are ready for deliveries and collections. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver with Huws Gray:

• Serving our customers out in the yard, providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projects
• Supporting with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines
• Making deliveries to our local customers as and when needed, ensuring they get their materials on time, every time
• Working as a team to help our drivers by loading and unloading vehicles
• Safeguarding against loss and theft of stock by being security conscious

We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driverbut you will need a Class 2 Licence.
