Job summary

CES Power LLC in the United Kingdom operates depots to ensure safe and efficient running of our engineering and logistics teams. You will lead stock control, conditioning and storage, while supporting fleet readiness and facility presentation to high standards.

Working with a busy depot, you will drive daily tasks, coordinate workloads and uphold safety, aiming to deliver reliable power services for construction, events and other customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in depot operations and stock management.
• Forklift license preferred but training provided.
• Strong organisational and safety focus.
• Good communication within a busy depot.
• Experience in power engineering and/or hire sector.

Responsibilities

• Direct stock control, conditioning and storage of equipment.
• Lead depot housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Coordinate daily and weekly tasks to KPI targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues across depot operations.
• Support environmental waste credentials.

About Your Role - this is a key role!

You will be at the heart of the Depot team dynamic responsible for supporting how we ensure the safe and efficient running of our operations at Depot level, supporting our highly trained engineering and support teams to do what we do best - deliver the power our customer needs, whenever and wherever they need it from the construction industry to powering some of your favourite music and sporting events.

What you'll be doing

• Key to our success is the smooth and efficient day to day running of our depot engineering and logistic operations - you will be involved and take the lead on stock control/conditioning/proper placement/storage, forklift driving (our generators are mighty fine pieces of kit), valeting of equipment, checking and preparation of equipment, setting the standard of depot presentation and organisation and general housekeeping, with safety at the fore front of your mind at all times.
• You will also be in constant communication and collaboration with your colleagues - our Depots are a hive of activity and the coordination of activities is vital.
• Deliver daily and weekly key tasks and KPIs covering timing, quality & standards
• Working with the team and with the greater good in mind, you'll prioritise and coordinate your workload, and ensure that your Depot is the benchmark for others to aspire to.
• You’ll also help save the planet by driving our environmental waste credentials.

• Preferably a forklift truck license but not essential as we'll train you as part of our approach to development
