CES Power LLC is seeking a hands-on generator engineer to maintain, service and repair generators, BSU and distribution boards at our East London depot. You will diagnose faults, travel to sites, and prioritise workloads to maximise first-time fixes while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers weekday hours with overtime and on-call opportunities, requiring your own tools and a valid driver’s license. Join a team committed to reliable power solutions.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in power engineering.
• Proactive and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Driver's license required.
• Own tools are essential.

Responsabilités

Job Description

About Your Role:

If you are a skilled, hands on, experienced generator Engineer with an eye for detail who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to make a real impact, this role is for you! With your strong communication skills, and proactive approach, we are looking for you to come join our fantastic team at CES Power! You'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, servicing and repairing generators, tanks cables, BSU and distribution boards at our depot in East London which will bring a mix of troubleshooting, problem solving and travel.

What you'll be doing:

• You’ll undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators, tanks cables, BSU and distribution boards at our depot in East London to ensure performance and reliability

• With yourproblem solvingabilities, you will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalation to the Technical Team for additional support if things are a little tricker.

• Safely travel to customer sites and carry out planned, and reactive work, delivering great customer service and support, whatever the event

• As someone who can work independently, you will prioritise your workload, and ensure you have the right tools for the job to maximise first time fixes, every time

• Rapid deployment of road tow generators to customer sites and installing when required
  

What you'll bring:

• NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry
