Job summary

Greenhous Group is seeking a Yard Operative at our Stone site in England. The role supports day-to-day yard operations to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment. Hours are 7:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary is dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview. The role may involve transferring vehicles, parking, fitting plates, basic polishing, and recording activity on a mobile device, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Transferring vehicles on site.
• Routine tasks such as fitting number plates, parking vehicles, removing decals, some basic levels of polishing and processing keys.
• Recording work activity using a mobile device.
• Associated administration.
• The occasional delivery of vehicles is required.
• To ensure cars parked in correct bay.
• Arrival cars to be booked in within the specified timeframe.
• Dispatch cars to be checked to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.

We are pleased to announce a new opportunity to join our business as a Yard Operative at our Cold Meece Refurbishment and Defleet site.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Hours: 7.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 47.5 hours per week.

Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).

Key Responsibilities:

Transferring vehicles on site.
