Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to work with our client based in the Hinckley area on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week (07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday).

The successful candidate will carry out re-handling duties within a waste depot using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs, and must hold licences for both tracked and wheeled machines. Experience in a yard, waste or recycling environment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating 360 excavators.
• Hold licences for tracked and wheeled 360 excavators.
• Experience in a yard, waste, recycling or similar environment is advantageous.

• Carrying out re-handling duties within the waste depot.

The Role

The successful candidate will initially work on a temporary assignment until January 2027, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position. The role involves carrying out re-handling duties within a commercial waste depot using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs.
