Job summary

Cottrell Moore Ltd in London are seeking a proactive Yard Operative for our West Hampstead branch. This hands-on role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

You will support yard and store operations, manage stock, and assist customers with loading and product advice. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential, and you will spend about a quarter of your time driving the forklift.

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and organise stock in yard and store areas - 75% of the role is of a physical nature.
• Assist customers with loading and product advice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment in both the yard and store.
• Perform regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle manual tasks and general maintenance as required.

Yard Operative

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Yard Operative to join a dedicated team in this West Hampstead branch. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, physically active environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

You'll support both yard and store operations, ensuring stock is well managed and customers receive the best experience possible. A forklift licence is essential for this role as 25% of your time will be spent driving the counterbalance forklift truck.
