Parker Building Supplies, part of IBMG, invites applications for a full-time Yard Operative at its Crowborough branch. You will handle loading/unloading, picking orders and assisting customers in a busy outdoor yard environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Experience in builders' merchant, warehouse or yard is desirable.
• Forklift licence (preferred) and UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload building materials.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Assist customers collecting goods from the yard.
• Keep the yard clean, safe and organized.
• Support stock control and goods-in activities.
• Operate forklift truck if trained.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent service.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Loading and unloading building materials

Working Hours

Week 1

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Week 2

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm (rota basis, paid as overtime)
