Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Yard Operative for a client based in Cardiff. This is a full-time, temporary ongoing position.

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Shifts: 08:00 - 16:00

Responsibilities:

1. Remove plastic storage bags from containers.
2. Empty contents and secure in storage areas.
3. Move contents into recycling and compactor skips.
4. Store each part in relevant bins.
5. Load and unload containers.
6. Adhere to all health and safety briefings.
7. Report any mishaps or near misses to relevant parties.

This role is physically demanding; the applicant must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
