Yard Operative Role at Pertemps - Cardiff

Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Yard Operative for a client based in Cardiff. This is a temporary ongoing position with both full-time and ad-hoc shifts available.

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Shifts: 08:00 - 16:00

Responsibilities:

1. Remove plastic storage bags from containers.
2. Empty contents and secure in storage areas.
3. Move contents into recycling and compactor skips.
4. Store each part in relevant bins.
5. Load and unload containers.
6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
7. Report any mishaps or near misses to relevant parties.

This role is physically demanding; applicants must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.

Candidate Skills:

1. Experience in a fast-paced yard environment.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Problem-solving ability.
4. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
5. Forklift licence is desirable.
