Job Title: Yard Operative / Labourer
Location: Avonmouth
Pay Rate: GBP12.30 per hour (+ holiday pay)
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing or Temp-to-Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Overtime: Time and a half (including Saturdays)

A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for a dependable Yard Operative / Labourer to join our client s team in Avonmouth Docks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and is looking for stable hours with the potential for a permanent position.

Role Overview:

You ll be working in a busy industrial yard, supporting general labouring duties and maintaining the overall safety and organisation of the site. This role involves outdoor work in dusty conditions, so being comfortable in such environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• General yard duties, including sweeping and tidying outdoor areas

• Assisting with manual handling and moving materials around the yard

• Supporting loading and unloading of vehicles

• Sorting and disposing of waste materials correctly

• Keeping pathways and access routes clear and safe

• Performing basic maintenance and weeding when required

• Following all site health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Own transport is essential due to site location

• Previous experience in a similar yard/labouring role preferred

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Basic understanding of health and safety in a yard environment

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
