We are looking for a Yard Operative to join us at Huws Gray Bedford. If you’re in the trade or have tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. As a Yard Operative, your responsibilities will include:

1. Serving customers in the timber yard with product knowledge.
2. Supporting incoming deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining safety standards.
3. Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles.
4. Protecting stock from loss and theft by being security conscious.

We value individuality and offer training and tools to help you succeed. A forklift license and timber knowledge are advantageous but not essential.
