Yard Operative

Location: Bedford

Salary: £26,000 per year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Yard Operative to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:

·Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised

·Assisting with deliveries

·Operating forklifts, loaders, or other yard equipment to move materials efficiently and safely

·Ensuring materials are properly stored

·Communicating with drivers, supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations

Requirements of the Yard Operative:

·Previous yard/warehouse experience

·Must have counterbalance and reach forklift licences

·Able to work as part of a team and own initiative

·Strong attention to detail.

·Health & safety awareness.
