Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting a Yard Operative for a busy recycling site in Baldock. The role is hands-on and involves sorting recyclable materials, keeping the yard tidy and safe, and supporting daily operations.

You will work Monday to Friday, with either full-time or part-time hours, and the pay rate is £13.00 to £13.50 per hour depending on experience. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, waste management, warehouse or yard environments is beneficial but not essential.
• Physically able to perform manual work and stay outdoors in a industrial environment.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials on the picking line.
• Identify and remove non-recyclable materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work safely around machinery and site vehicles.
• Support the team to ensure efficient daily operations.

About the Role

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives to join a well-established recycling company based in Baldock.
