Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Customer Service role in Wadebridge. You will acknowledge customers, assess needs and deliver quick, friendly service across yard, counter and shop floor. Training for forklift and loading is provided as you support sales and customer satisfaction.

You will work Monday to Friday 07:30–16:30 and alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00, contributing to a vibrant team and a culture of growth and dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer and understand their needs to wow with quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to build relationships and understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform loading/unloading, picking, packing, restocking.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Loading and unloading vehicles manually and with forklift (training provided).
