Job summary

Tulloch Recruitment's client in Portlethen is looking for Yard Labourers to join their team, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidates. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with overtime available when required.

Duties include loading and unloading deliveries, moving and organising stock around the yard, keeping the yard clean and tidy, and supporting general yard tasks while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a busy yard environment.
• Forklift licence (B1/B2/B3) or equivalent and valid cert.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving and organising stock and materials around the yard.
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised.
• Assisting with general yard duties and manual handling.
• Checking goods and materials on receipt.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
• Good awareness of safe working practices around vehicles and machinery.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required.

• Forklift experience - B1, B2 or B3 licence (must hold one valid cert any size)
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and organising stock and materials around the yard
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting with general yard duties and manual handling

• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Good awareness of safe working practices around vehicles and machinery
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work well as part of a team
