Robert Price Builders’ Merchants Ltd is hiring for a Yard Worker/Forklift Driver/Transit Driver at Caerphilly. The role combines yard duties with forklift operation and local deliveries, offering varied responsibilities within a family-run business.

The successful candidate will hold a clean B-class licence with at least two years driving experience, possess basic arithmetic skills, and demonstrate practical teamwork, reliability, and good customer service in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Clean driving licence (Class B) and at least 2 years driving experience.
• A good understanding of metric and imperial measurements and basic mental arithmetic.
• Proven teamwork skills.
• Naturally tidy and organised.
• Willingness to engage with customers and provide good customer service.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised once trained.
• Reliable, industrious, adaptable and quick to grasp new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders, loading and unloading and related paperwork.
• General warehouse duties and stock management.
• Customer service – dealing with customers in person.
• Driving forklift at the branch.
• Making local deliveries on the transit.
