Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for a Sales Advisor/ Yard Assistant who shares our passion for great service. This is a dual role: 50% working at the sales counter and 50% in the yard.

Hours: 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday 08:00-12:00

Location: Jewson Rushden, Norris Way, Norris Way Industrial Estate, Rushden, NN10 6BP

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with their projects
• Use our systems to process orders, organize delivery, update accounts, and communicate with customers
• Build relationships with customers, providing advice and solutions
• Learn product lines to assist customers effectively
• Prepare orders, load/unload vehicles using a forklift (training provided)
• Check deliveries and report issues
• Maintain stock levels and conduct stock counts
• Keep the branch tidy and presentable
• Prioritize health and safety at all times
