Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Reinsurance Technician (XOL/Pro Rata) in Witham. The role is hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office and focuses on transactional processing to secure reinsurance recoveries through accurate system entry.

Experience in Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims is valued, along with strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn the technical account structure. Prior Broker experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Some demonstrable Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience, e.g. handling cash loss or large loss.
• Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structures.
• Proven ability to manage workloads and meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
• Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds.
• Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
• Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
• Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team for all aspects of reinsurance service processing.
