Job summary

Marsh in Witham is seeking a Pro Rata Technician to support client portfolios with end-to-end reinsurance processing. The role combines home working two days a week and office-based three days in Witham, offering hybrid flexibility and exposure to London market systems.

Key duties include managing technical duties on client accounts, reconciling funds with Market Fiduciary, and handling renewals and e-trading. Prospects for study towards CII qualifications and career progression are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Reinsurance premium/claims experience, e.g. handling cash loss/large loss.
• Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure.
• Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts.
• Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds.
• Manage all Pro Rata post, broker receivables, funding, retention, e-trading and renewals.
• Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
• Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
