Construction Resources in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Accounts Ledger to join the finance team on a permanent basis. You will manage day-to-day ledger activities, including purchase and sales ledgers, supplier invoices, and payments, with a focus on accuracy and timely records.

The role requires hands-on experience in bookkeeping, double-entry accounting, and bank reconciliations, plus strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a busy office environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in an accounts/finance role is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software is essential.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting principles.
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Manage purchase and sales ledger processes.
• Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments.
• Raise and process customer invoices.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Carry out regular bank reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with credit control.
• Process payments and maintain accurate payment records.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and account discrepancies.
• Allocate incoming and outgoing payments correctly.
• Assist with month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and management information.
