Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are comfortable working in a remote environment.

Areti Group has exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing fintech company based in London, building out a greenfield team, and seeking up to 40 new Software Engineers experienced in highly scalable microservice architecture by the end of the year.

These roles are FULLY REMOTE and offer you the choice of laptop and tech equipment to ensure you can perform at your best.

As a software engineer in this organization, you should demonstrate a willingness to self-develop and a passion for your work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building new features in our core language, Golang/PHP
• Making key architectural decisions and advancing the platform
• Supporting product and delivery teams
• Mentoring and coaching team members

The client is transitioning from PHP to Golang. If you are a PHP expert interested in learning new technologies or have experience moving from PHP to Golang, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least 2 years of Golang experience
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, AWS
• Knowledge of OWASP or similar web security standards
• Experience building microservices and APIs
• Understanding of event-driven design, including complexities like eventual consistency and transactions in distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and proactive in sharing knowledge
• Experience with React/React Native and Next.js is a bonus
