Job Summary

Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Assist with administrative and clinical tasks, such as patient registration and medical assisting duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately
• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques
• Process images, review for proper ID and quality, and prepare for physician review
• Operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with policies
• Assist providers with prescribed treatments following standards and protocols
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and coordinate repairs
• Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed
• Serve as Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant as needed within guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience. ARRT-registered or eligible preferred. Licensed per state regulations. In some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification is acceptable.
