Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Wraparound Care Manager for a Salford primary school. You will support the existing manager in running Breakfast and After-School Clubs and help deliver a safe, fun and engaging before/after school provision for children.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise wraparound staff, build positive relationships with children and families, and ensure safeguarding and high standards of care are maintained.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent or above.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Wraparound Care Manager with the day-to-day running of the Breakfast and After-School Clubs.
  • Help provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support and supervise wraparound care staff.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and school staff.
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high standards of care.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Support the manager with the smooth organisation of the provision.
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and positive environment for children before and after school.

Wraparound Care Manager

Location: Salford
Hours: Breakfast Club 7:00am-9:00am & After-School Club 3:00pm-6:00pm
Contract: Starting ASAP

Are you an experienced childcare or wraparound care professional looking for your next opportunity within a welcoming primary school?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wraparound Care Manager to join a primary school in Salford, supporting the existing manager in the successful leadership and day-to-day running of the school's Breakfast and After-School Clubs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and creating a safe, fun and engaging environment for children.

The Role

As Wraparound Care Manager, you will work closely with the existing manager to support the effective running of the school's wraparound provision. You will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast and After-School Clubs, ensuring children receive excellent care and have a positive experience before and after the school day.

The provision runs:

  • Breakfast Club: 7:00am - 9:00am
  • After-School Club: 3:00pm - 6:00pm

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting staff, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and ensuring the provision operates smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Wraparound Care Manager with the day-to-day running of the Breakfast and After-School Clubs

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent, or above
  • Has experience working with primary-aged children
  • Has previous experience within wraparound care, childcare, schools, nurseries or a similar setting
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Is reliable, proactive and able to take initiative
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and providing high-quality childcare
