Job summary

Langshott Primary School in Horley is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and caring Breakfast & Afterschool Club Leader to run our wraparound care. You will lead and develop the club, create a safe and inclusive environment, and join with families and colleagues to support children’s daily experiences.

This permanent, term-time role is 17.33 hours per week; salary is on the Surrey Pay PS5-PS7 scale, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, playwork or similar setting.
Experience supervising, supporting or coordinating staff.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to delivering an outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop our Breakfast and Afterschool Club provision.
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Lead, support and motivate club staff.
Plan engaging activities and enrichment opportunities.
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and care.
Support the continued growth and success of our wraparound provision.
