Job summary

Holy Trinity Catholic Voluntary Academy in Newark is hiring a part-time coordinator for the Breakfast/After School Club. Plan, set up, and coordinate the weekly timetable and ensure safe, healthy snacks and resources for our children. You will supervise pupils during after-school sessions and work closely with staff and families.

This 13.75-hour-per-week, term-time role supports a caring school ethos and offers a positive, flexible environment with safeguarding checks in place.

Qualifications

  • Be caring, supportive and promote good behaviour.
  • Holding an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, or equivalent, would be desirable.
  • Act as a role model and provide a safe, stimulating environment.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Display a positive, flexible attitude and commitment to Catholic ethos.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, prepare and coordinate the weekly timetable for the club.
  • Supervise children during Breakfast/After School Club sessions and ensure snacks/resources.
  • Work with staff to provide a safe, stimulating environment and high-quality opportunities.
  • Engage with pupils, staff and parents to support learning and behaviour expectations.

Job description

The position will require you to plan, set up, prepare, and coordinate the weekly timetable and ensure appropriate resources and healthy snacks are provided for our children as well as supervising our children during the Breakfast / After School Club sessions.

This is a permanent role working for 13.75 hours per week during the term time - Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 5:45pm
