Job summary

Hotham Primary School in Putney, SW London, is seeking a Wraparound Assistant to care for children aged 5–10 outside of school hours. This casual/term-time role runs afternoons from 3pm to 5pm (or 6pm) across 38 weeks, with start ASAP. CVs are not accepted and a satisfactory DBS check is required.

We are a thriving primary school in the heart of Putney in South West London and are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic practitioner to join our hard working team.

We require a Wraparound Assistant who is responsible for caring for children (aged from 5 to 10) outside of the school day, while maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment.

The Wraparound Assistant is warm and responsive, working flexibly and effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the club.

We are looking for someone who can evidence:

• Experience working with children;
• A genuine desire to give children positive life experiences;
• Resourcefulness and the ability to be flexible.
