Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Wraparound Teaching Assistant to join our committed and friendly team.

We welcome applications from individuals who care about people and can form strong relationships. They will nurture, support, and encourage our pupils to engage in active play and develop strong social skills.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified with an NVQ Level 2 and have experience working in a Primary School, ideally in wraparound care.
  • Nurturing and committed to working with students to help them achieve their potential.
  • Able to create a culture and ethos where all students can succeed and become engaged in their own learning.
  • An excellent communicator demonstrating openness and honesty.
  • An excellent team player who enjoys working collaboratively.

Streethay Primary School is a growing school located in a new community in Lichfield. Opened in September 2019, the school is part of the Shaw Education Trust, which includes primary, secondary, and special schools, as well as an FE college, all working together to support positive outcomes for pupils.

Working hours are part-time, 15 hours per week (3 pm - 6 pm), during term time plus 5 inset days.
