Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking an experienced Data, Intelligence & Insight System Manager to lead the WPAS service across North Wales. The role focuses on operational management, performance, and continuous improvement of WPAS to support patients, clinicians, and administrators.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health Informatics or equivalent
• Management qualification
• Extensive experience in a senior DDaT role
• Knowledge of data collection and standards
• Experience at All-Wales level
• Staff management experience
• Specialist knowledge of Health Board IT systems
• Specialist knowledge of information use within the Organisation

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the WPAS team delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Advise on WPAS configuration, functionality, processes and service developments.
• Develop and implement system improvements aligned to priorities.
• Maintain governance: data quality, access, compliance, and risk.
• Build strong relationships with operational, clinical and digital stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and drive efficiency, effectiveness and user experience.
• Lead incident management, problem resolution and service continuity for WPAS.
• Support strategic planning and future WPAS development.
