Job summary

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be working with an international organisation that produces high-quality products in a safe, clean and flexible environment. The Workshop Technician will join the team to rebuild, repair and maintain mechanical components including transmissions, gearboxes and axles.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering or similar, IT literacy and proven problem solving.

Qualifications

• IT literate with ability to record and extract information
• Problem solving in a mechanical engineering context
• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering/vehicle maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect and reassemble transmissions, axles and final drive assemblies
• Use inspection measuring and test equipment to ensure component conformity
• Work on own initiative and in a team to solve technical problems
• Use IT equipment to create inspection reports and identify required parts
• Ensure correct and safe usage of tooling and equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within operations
• Undertake other ad hoc duties to support operations
