Job summary

Qualifications

• Mech engineering background and hands-on experience with gearboxes and bearings.
• Time-served engineering experience.
• Ability to work mainly in workshop with some site travel.

Responsibilities

• Assembling industrial gearboxes
• Servicing and repairing gearboxes
• Working with bearings and mechanical components
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues; stripping, inspecting and rebuilding equipment
• Ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards
• Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
• Supporting the wider engineering team when required
